Mike and Suzy Bates are a husband and wife photography team. Mike is the technogeek of the family who works as an engineering professional for a medical device firm. He loves the gadgetry of photography and shoots with a 1DSMk II. His photographic focus is wildlife, especially macro-photography. Suzy is the people person of the team who can get the most uncooperative child to smile for her photos. She has worked as a photographer for a small town newspaper and a portrait photographer. She shoots with a EOS 20D.
